At KaleidoKidz, we believe in the beauty and uniqueness of every individual. Our name is inspired by the kaleidoscope, a timeless symbol of change, growth, and vibrant possibilities. Just as a kaleidoscope reveals a continuous, ever-changing pattern of beautiful forms, we see every child/ adult as a beautiful and dynamic individual, full of potential, creativity and promise.

We specialise in providing the following essential services: Therapeutic Play, Life Coaching, Learning Support and Study Methods Workshops.

Our Therapeutic Play (Play Therapy) sessions offer a nurturing and safe environment where children can express themselves freely through play, facilitating emotional growth and healing.

If you’re feeling stuck, uncertain about your next steps, or simply wanting to grow and improve an area of your life, Life Coaching may be the right fit for you.

Additionally, our Learning Support is tailored to assist children who may be struggling academically, offering targeted support to enhance their learning.

Whether you or your child needs support with emotional well-being or academic progress, KaleidoKidz is here to provide compassionate and effective support. All of our services are available in both English and Afrikaans.

Elaine Rheeder

Elaine Rheeder is the owner and founder of KaleidoKidz. She holds a BA Degree in Social Science and an Honours Degree in Health Sciences - Psychology. Since commencing her studies in 2015, her primary aim has always been to work with children and to empower them to reach their full potential. In 2020, she pursued a post-graduate certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills through PTI (Play Therapy International) and currently practices as a qualified Therapeutic Play Skills Practitioner. Elaine has also received specialised training in learning support.

In addition, she completed her NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Life Coach training through School of Life and now offers Life Coaching services to support individuals in personal growth and forward-focused change.

Elaine perceives herself as a compassionate and nurturing individual capable of fostering enduring, positive relationships. Her profound passion lies in play therapy, with a commitment to fostering safety, comprehension, and sound mental well-being in children across all domains. When Elaine identifies something, she feels strongly about, she dedicates herself wholeheartedly to its success, persevering until she achieves her objectives: to become the most effective therapist, influencer, and support system for every individual she encounters.

Elaine’s favourite verse and all-time encouragement: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31.
